linux - Debian - How to analyse memory/disk usage issue -


for internal usage, have 1 little server powered debian apache+mysql running. last saaturday, had issue detected employees, server doesn't respond.

i able log in in ssh , see memory full, , munin logs hard disk have uncommon read usage.

i restarted apache & mysql , gone normal activity.

i don't know today reason of issue. process have saturated hard disk...

any idea can found usefull information ?

memory usage in kb or mb:free or free -m

disk usage in human readable values: df -h

a list of files , folders in or specific directory sorted size: du /folder/path | sort -n
